Also - as widely reported in this forum, the picture quality for the OTA digital signals will generally be better than what you will get from the sat. The HD signals will be received OTA in their as-broadcast resolution vs. "HD-Lite" that is prevalent for HD LiLs. (That situation may improve as MPEG-4 encoding improves.) Also - some of the digital subchannels that your local channels are broadcasting will not be carried by the sat. at all. Bottom line - even if you plan to get locals from the sat. you are still advised to take advantage of and optimize your OTA capability if you have it for greater digital and HD selection and better PQ.
