I am in middle Tennessee, and currently have a Dish 500 and 61.5 connected to my 2800 and 301. I would like to install the Dish 1000 and 121. I am going to buy one of the new HD receivers. I was thinking about dumping 61.5 as more internationals are on 121. How do I do this? I still want to use the other 2 receivers.
One, addidtional question my HDTV is a JVC and has a HDMI/HDCP input what output does the new HD recevers have. If it has a HDMI out do i still need to connect the Dolby Digital Cable.
Thanks, in advance.

If your only concern is international channels all you should need is a 121 SuperDish that will pick up 110,119, and 121. A Dish 1000 picks up 110,119, and 129. 129 is used mostly for locals and the Voom HD package (Which is also on 61.5). You can also do some slight modifying to a superdish to be able to pick up the 129 signal on the same dish.

The 811 HD receiver has a DVI output, the new 411 and vip 211 have an HDMI output. I don't think anyone really knows if that specific HDMI carries Dolby Digital, but the 942 HD DVR did NOT so I'm going to assume neither the 411 and 211 do. In that case you will need a toslink cable to conect to the optical dobly digital output.

SuperDish vs. Dish 500 + 61.5
