Doesn't work on ESPN+.
When I made that comment I was talking about "real" streaming services like ESPN+ not Youtube TV, Sling TV etc. which are the same old linear TV delivered via IP rather than cable or satellite.

This would imply the goalposts actually stop at some point. With him they don't, it's always something else.
Not really..Nobody answered how many starlink customers are in the united states..specifically residential customers

In April of last year, SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell said that Starlink wanted to keep pricing as simple and transparent as possible, and had no plans to introduce service tiers into the mix. However, that approach seems to be changing in 2022 with the introduction of a new premium tier with a scan array that's twice as big as the standard plan and with download speeds ranging from 150-500Mbps. That tier costs $500 per month, plus an initial payment of $2,500 for the equipment. Starlink is taking orders for that tier now, and plans to launch the service later in 2022.

Thats the tier thats comparable to a cable modem when you need multiple HD streams...I get 800 meg for like 70 a month...the regular starlink tier sounds ok but speeds probably drop depending how many users are online..just like a cable modem

Again, there is barely any lag, no more then with Traditional Providers, I have already timed it a few times, 3-4 seconds at the most.
While watching something, hit back arrow on the Roku, guide pops up, select what you want by hitting ok, as soon as you do so, the show you selected pops up instantly.
The only time it would take longer is if you have trouble finding something to watch.
Now I have had DirecTV, Dish and Comcast, there is always a few second lag in changing channels.

1G, but the ethernet port on the Roku Ultra is only 10/100, which is what I use since I prefer it wired.
And what does the waiting list have to do with 400,000 customers. All new services will have waiting lists. Satellites are launched on a regular basis and there are customers currently being served. Not a fantasy at all.
