Hey everyone, I have been looking at the posts for Mexico and believe you can help me with my problem. I currently live in Guadalajara but also have a residence in whittier CA, where my direct TV is currently in use. I brought my box and a new 18 by 20 inch dish, ran my RG6 cable(less than 100 feet), mounted my dish level and pointed it at the coordinates I have. I got the coordinates from direct TV from a cool technician who actually gave me the coordinates for my Lat and Long, I know I was amazed too. The only problem is I get nothing, no signal at all. I have a signal meter and it tells me I have no break in the coax and that's about it. I know I should at least get somewhat of a signal. What do I do next, any suggestions? Keith
Long 103.3 Lat 20.7 Dec 3.1( I still don't get how to calculate for this yet)
Coordinates from direct TV are 191 azimuth, 65 elevation
If the satellite is just under Texas and I'm just to the left of it do I really point south?
