I'm divorcing you! After sweet 9 months of fighting, I am ending this bitter breakup with a real service. I'm going to the satellite leader of yesterday, today and tomorrow. I'm sorry to say, Dish network will never be the leader of DTH services no matter how much wishing you can do!
I tried to let you know where you were going wrong and what you could do to keep me and gain millions of customers. Did you listen. Nope. Instead you say that your saving me money by fighting for me. After comparing your prices to Uverse, Comcast and Directv, I came to the conclusion that the two bucks saved really isn't worth missing out on the programming that I want. It hasnt been worth all of the pain and agony of trying to get you to change your nasty ways and see the light! Infact, it has cost you coustomers and it will continue to do so once word has hit the street, and its hitting the street.
If you cant support my needs, then I'm not supporting you! No more. While I understand that you might have had issues in the past launching birds, it isn't an excuse to ignore customers and not take the hardball questions anymore. I'm getting rid of the fluff out of my life! There were measures that could have been taken to ensure that you remain in the drivers seat through the tough times.
No longer will I be enslaved into watching programming on your terms with the half assed effort of HDRSN's. If I want to watch a replay of a ball game at 3am in hd, or catch HD replays of my Stanley cup winning black hawks when there isnt a game on, I can now do so, as everyone else except dish network customers can.
I also get more HD locals with out the use of an over the air antenna with my new provider as they now provide 10 of my local channels in HD where you only give me 5 local channels. My new provider also doesn't have an issue providing PBS in HD as I get two PBSHD channels, with independent programming.
The tipping point was the Disney channel dispute. Your ego is so big that you have to hold customers hostage and take away programming that your customers paid for. Honestly, if your not paying your bills why should you expect me to pay mine? While I understand that programming providers have spats from time to time. Dish, Your track record is the best when it comes to taking programming that I, My family, watch. No longer will I worry about having my channels taken away, for the most part. So for this, Good bye, I'll still visit here and see if the same old Charlie exists, of all flash, fluff and marketing spin.
I have many other reasons on what you did wrong but there is no point on crying over split milk.
So Goodbye!
