I suspect that this may be the last year for this version of CSI. Does an yone think I am wrong?

Strangely I think that CBS actually has more successful shows than they expected. They seem to want to refresh the lineup with a certain number of new shows each season (which may be good) but aif you believe the media reports they are looking for ways to get rid of certain shows that actually seemed to be performing well.

I think that "The Defenders' is dead meat and I think that CBS was surprised that "Blue bloods" was not more successful when they moved it to Wednesdays. Maybe that disappointment will help out this show or some other show on the bubble. Although Blue Bloods looks like a classic CBS Friday show why not be satisfied with ratings that are good fro Friday but would be unacceptable elsewhere?

CBS would be foolish to yank these shows as both are doing well in their respective timeslots. Of course, CBS has such as good lineup (ratings wise) that just about any mediocre show will do well when inserted into the lineup. Hopefully both parties can come to an agreement, regarding salaries, so they'll be back in the Fall. We shall see. Personally, I enjoy watching both shows.
