I think CBS has no imagination. They just keep cranking out reboots of old cancelled series.
This is not great- they cancel NCIS New Orleans and bring back an oldie with returning stars that I hated (Peterson).
The thing I liked about the original CSI when it first started as it showed the science behind how they solved the crime.
It was like watching a much more exciting version of Forensic Files.

I wasn't thinking about Caruso, I couldn't care less about him.
But not with David Caruso!
I was thinking about Emily Proceter, Eva LaRue, and Khandi Alexander
William Peterson must need the money because I can't believe he would come back to TV and to the same show. Hope they bring back George Eads also.
He does not need the money. He was the producer of CSI. I doubt Eads will ever be invited back. He caused a lot of problems.
Look at the alphabet network bringing back The Wonder Years with a twist…
Yes William Peterson might be off the show in the beginning because he got sent to the hospital because of exhaustion on set. I think this will be CBS's next big thing depending on if Mark Harmon of NCIS is in any episodes this year. CSI star William Petersen rushed to hospital after falling ill on set of new sequel series
But those reboots are to include a mostly black cast , so they would still be considered kind of new. At least to the new black viewers who watch it for the first time. But there is a definite lack of creativity on Network tv. Cbs is the procedural king with almost all their shows about who done its and how and why. NBC has Chicago shows covered for 3 of their shows.
