CSI: Miami

I saw the show last night. I kinda stopped watching it last year, but it was good to see the show since it has been awhile.
Glad to see Cardosa be the one to eat a bullet (never really bonded with this character) instead of one of the regulars.
Offhand, I don't know what to make of the Sunday timeslot...but they should do well since there's not much competition.

CBS' old and new shows and pounding everyone in the ratings war.

Other than the NFL

Then again, last year it was up against the Monday night game.

Gee, thanks for the help. "Don't sub to the thread, because I am too lazy to not spoil it for folks who can't watch it live".

BTW, what the hell do you think spoiler tags are for?? They are not only for spoilers before shows, but if you want to discuss something others may have not seen yet.

Spoilers are good for when the West Coasters have not gotten the show already.

This issue has been discussed in other threads, and the consensus was that spoiler tags were needed before the West Coast saw the episodes, but not after.

Otherwise spoiler tags make a quick mess of a thread.

Well, since people are just lazy (I always use spoiler tags when posting actual plot info), I'll just unsub from every freakin show thread. Ridiculous, especially in the day and age of the DVR, that you can only sub to threads of shows you can watch live, which for me, is NONE.

See you guys at the end of the season...

The problem is that some people wait a week or more to watch shows.
This issue came up once when someone complained 2 weeks after the episode aired. Exactly how long are we supposed to wait? It was discussed and the people involved agreed to after the west coast finished the episode or the next morning at the latest.

In this case, a major character was killed off. That in itself is fodder for discussion (though it wasn't a big surprise, as it was announced back in June that the actor was leaving the show).

Not sure I'm gonna see alot of this show this year, being on CBS and after the football, this week the show doesn't start till 11 PM a full hour after it's suppose to show.

CBS could solve this by running the last football game up to 8 pm (highlights) and then put on 60 minutes.
This would keep everything on the hour.
They would need to drop a show somewhere though.

Offhand, I would say spoiler tags should be used until the next episode airs (following week). Of course, getting everyone on-board is easier said than done.

Easy solution, don't come to the TV threads if you haven't seen your up to date episode.

Kinda stupid to ask people to NOT talk about a show they just saw.

Maybe thats why theres not much traffic in these threads.

Do we not talk about the weekly football game because some haven't seen the game yet ?

I am not sure that CBS thinks that there isa prob lem to solve. The long football games probably help their ratings more than hurt them.

I love this show and I don't know why they didn't keep Eddie Cibrian. He is on Chase on NBC now , but it seems like he can't keep a tv show for very long.
