We live in Panama Central America and can intermittently recieve sirius signals. We have tried the regular antenna and the terk sir6 antenna but still have unacceptable signal losses. We cannot hear a complete news bulletin !!
Does anyone have info about how one might go about constucting a larger antenna for satellite radio reception?
Thanks for any advice
Tony

You might want to try taking a small satellite dish and placing the regular antenna module at the place the lnb would go and then work on aiming the dish. Ive seen several instances lately where individuals have used this technique with wireless routers to extend the wireless transmission / reception range up to 12 miles and in theory it should also work for a sirius signal.

The problem is that the Sirius satelites constantly move over north america, so I don't think using a regular sat TV dish would work...
