You can see all of the fibers in the paper cutouts. Something you cannot see in SD. The picture is many times clearer.Looks good to me. Technically it isn't drawn. It's actually done on a computer. Only some of the original episodes weren't done on computer. They were done with card board cut outs.

Also the fact that Viacom does not stretch anything.because when you watch for example family guy on tbs you can tell it's stretched at the corners if you look carefully. it's harder to notice on a cartoon but you can still see it. this episode of south park is not stretched at all.
Honestly, I do not think there is a need to explain why it is in HD. If someone can not tell, they need to adjust their settings, use the correct cables or get a new tv
