The initial results are in for the first regular episode (Mondays @ 8)

Here’s what NBC PR had to say about Chuck:

?At 8 p.m. ET, the regular-slot season premiere of “Chuck” (2.6 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49, 7.3 million viewers overall) scored the show’s highest regular-slot results in 18-49 and total viewers since the special 3-D telecast on February 2, 2009, the night after the Super Bowl. It was also the biggest total-viewer average for NBC in this time period with regular programming since that February 2 “Chuck.” In a time slot that last night included competition from Fox’s “House,” ABC’s “The Bachelor” and CBS’s comedies, “Chuck” generated growth from its first half-hour to its second of 8 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.7 from a 2.5) and 16 percent in adults 18-34 (2.2 vs. 1.9).

?Compared with NBC’s average in the time-period last season, last night’s “Chuck” is up 18 percent in 18-49 rating (2.6 vs. 2.2, live plus same day) and up 14% in total viewers (7.322 million vs. 6.409 million).

Chuck got a 2.5 a 18-49 rating the first half hour and a 2.7 the last half hour.

I stated that because I had heard that they did not order as many this season as they did the last season, they did not fill the whole order.

For week 3

Chuck was steady versus last week’s 2.5 adults 18-49 rating and up a bit with overall viewers

here are the numbers:
Show 8-49 Rating/Share Viewers (Millons)
Chuck 2.5/6 6.94

In the Renew index this is posted:
"Chuck scored another 2.5 rating last night. I think that’s just on the good side of renewal for the show. If it can keep that ratings level up, I am confident it will be back"

Ok Guys( and Gals) here's Week 4's ratings:

Show 8-49 Rating/Share Viewers (Millons)
Week 1 - 2.6/7 7.32
Week 2 - 2.5/6 6.66
Week 3 - 2.5/6 6.94
Week 4 - 2.4/6 6.72

It looks to me like the number of viewers are leveling off and according to what I've seen another site has the rating at 2.5/6 for Week 4! I hope that all of these viewers come back after the olympics. But if it continues to stay at this level i'm sure it will be renewed. It's been said that "In terms of NBC series, Chuck is hit!!!"

Here's Week 5's ratings:

Show 8-49 Rating/Share Viewers (Millons)
Week 1 - 2.6/7 7.32
Week 2 - 2.5/6 6.66
Week 3 - 2.5/6 6.94
Week 4 - 2.4/6 6.72
Week 5 - 2.2/6 6.61

I don't like the way this is going but I guess we just have to ride it out and wait till after the Olympic Break to see how things go. With Leno now gone I feel pretty sure (ie. hope) that Chuck will be back next season as it's one of NBC's better rated shows. Like I said we'll just have to Hang Out.

Here's an interesting article I found: (This could be considered a spoiler)
Chuck

After being off for a couple of weeks Chuck is back up a little.

Week 3 - 2.5/6 6.94
Week 4 - 2.4/6 6.72
Week 5 - 2.2/6 6.61
Week 6 - 2.4/6 6.70

Week 7's ratings: Down Just a litte

Show 8-49 Rating/Share Viewers (Millons)
Week 1 - 2.6/7 7.32
Week 2 - 2.5/6 6.66
Week 3 - 2.5/6 6.94
Week 4 - 2.4/6 6.72
Week 5 - 2.2/6 6.61
Week 6 - 2.4/6 6.70
Week 7 - 2.3/6 6.31

Wow, that is bad, very bad. Could this be some of the fallout over the "I'm not watching Chuck until he and Sara are back together" stuff.

If they get rid of Sarah, and most of the other cast and just leave Chuck on his own, Kiss the show GOOD-BYE, but I dought they;ll have 4th season, they had trouble tring to get a 3rd.

But from last weeks episode it appears Devine & Ellen, and Casey will be sticky around.

Wether all of they will be in Burbank remainds to be seen.

Week 9's ratings: Still Down. How much farther can it Go????

Show's 8-49 Rating/Share Viewers (Millons)
Week 1 - 2.6/7 7.32
Week 2 - 2.5/6 6.66
Week 3 - 2.5/6 6.94
Week 4 - 2.4/6 6.72
Week 5 - 2.2/6 6.61
Week 6 - 2.4/6 6.70
Week 7 - 2.3/6 6.31
Week 8 - 1.9/6 5.78
Week 9 - 1.9/5 5.43

Not looking good.

I think the real problem is that the show got away from what made it fun.
