I agree...the Piston started their fall with last years AI trade and are quickly picking up pace. I just don't see them getting better anytime soon. :rant:
Despite their run at the title the previous two seasons, I thought the beginning of the end started with Ben Wallace leaving town. I didn't mind seeing him leave, he wasn't worth what Chicago offered him, but Dumars never replaced him. Nazr Mohammed, Chris Weber, Kwame Brown were all unsuitable. Wallace was the last stand in their defense. His skills were fading and he wouldn't have made us champions anyhow, but we never found anybody to replace him. Let's see how this rebuilding project plays out.
