can't get coolsat4000pro to work

I just got into this and I have a friend that owns a pansat to help me out. We got 80 level and 70 quality. After installing all the softwares and flashing it all we could get is scrambled or bad signal. Is there any new firmware and software we are missing? Please help.

You flashed your receiver with a time-bomb, get it off there before it disables the receiver completely!!!!
