Cannot play PPV movies on HR-20

I tried to record PPV movies and cannot get them to play. The first try I found the movie that started in the future and hit record. I was under the impression that it would record and I would be charged when I watched it. It did record, but after a few minutes I got the message "searching for authorized content" and then stopped.

My second try I found the movie live and pressed the record button and turned the TV off. The result was the same "searching for authorized content" and then stopped. It still shows on the list so I know it is there.

The phone line is attached so that can't be the issue.

Is it me or the machine?

There is a known issue in the latest software release for the HD PPV not working.

The last CE test software (friday night) had a correction for it.

If all goes well it should roll out to everyone soon, a few weeks or so.

They are aware and trying to fix it
