Hello iwas wondering if i can watch fta satellites on 2 different tvs, with 2 recievers but on one dish?? is this possible at all if so, can i know what i need to accomplish this??
Yes, you would need a dual output LNB on your dish.
Or, if you can't find a dual-output LNB, you could use a 2-way splitter rated at 2 ghz or above. This, however, is not the best method, since you'd have to DC-Block one of the receivers and therefore only one receiver would control polarity.
Or you could connect the second receiver to the 1st receiver through the loopout. In this configuration you will only be able to watch channels on the same polarity. Since Horizontal polarity requires 18V, if one of the receiver is sending 18V and the second is sending 14V (for vertical polarity TP), the 18V will be dominant.
It is not the best setup, but it works fine if you can live with the above limitation. Otherwise, get a dual output LNBF and connect each receiver to one of the outputs.
