Can I play 625 recorded events without Sat hook-up?

We upgraded to a 622 last week, so we are waiting for the Box to return the 625. There are about 3 hrs of events recorded that we did not watch before the upgrade. Can it be hooked to a tv so we can watch them, or are we out of luck without reconnecting to the Sat? Thought I'd ask before spinning my wheels.

Not sure about the 625, but on my 942, I was able to view and transfer recordings without being hooked up to the satellite dish. I see no reason why it wouldn't be possible on the 625 too...

Honestly, people might just don't know. I have my 625 under my bed and I may just try it when I get I chance. Don't want to sell it just yet.

Never have tried it with a 625, but I know it works on a 510.

i used to do it all the time with my 510, dont know about the 625, i would just... try it... and you let us know

Hooked it up and YES, it works. Gonna go watch The Sopranos!

Went on vacation. Brought my 522 with me and hooked it up in the hotel room. Worked perfectly to catch up on shows I hadn't had a chance to watch.
