Hey all, just have a question that I think someone on here can probably answer. I have E* with a 722 in the living room. Using TV2 in bedroom (ch60). I also have basic cable. Is there anyway to combine the signal of my basic cable (2-13) and sat for TV2? This way, I can have my true locals in the bedroom and I can just flip to ch60 to get the sat...

Also, there is probably no way to run the basic cable through the 722 directly, is there?

Any thoughts?

you could try using a splitter to combine the backfeed from the receiver and your cable TV... however I can tell you from experience that this rarely gives an acceptable picture quality...tons of interference since both the dish backfeed and cable signal are in similar frequency ranges

depending on where the channels are located in your cable this might work...set your modulater to cable channel 110 through 121. most cable companys do not have their analog channels in this range.
