BUSTED! Deflategate: Pats deliberately did it!

He won't because that's not what any of the appeals or potential litigation are over. NFLPA doesn't seem to be appealing the suspension (as I understand it), but rather challenging that Troy Vincent is even allowed to give the punishment to begin with, and that that is a commissioner power that cannot be delegated.

Arguing over technicalities rather than the case.

The PA is actually appealing the suspension on multiple grounds, you are right about them challenging Vincent handing down the suspension, but also the Wells report itself and precedent of punishment.

Unless the arbitrator knocKS this to 0 games, expect this to end up in federal court.

No, the deflection has been, "others did the same thing", or "it didn't matter".

They broke the rules, got caught, and got punished. EOS.

Where? From other sites like PFT or from pundits, who gives a crap, they're not fans.

Got caught? That didn't happen.

Very interesting read...

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/robert-kraft-deflategate-tom-brady-roger-goodell-suspension/

...Once the fanatics in the fan base realize that it is in their interest to have Kraft remain an influential insider, rather than turn late in life into a 21st-century Al Davis, the better off everyone will be. There was an argument made quite seriously in some quarters that, since the league is “out to get” the Patriots anyway, the team should embrace a heel role, the way the Raiders did before Davis steered that franchise into the absurdity and futility from which it may never emerge. Is sticking it to Goodell really worth paying that kind of price? Kraft apparently made the quite logical calculation that it would not be...

I read that Coach didn't believe Brady's story is why Kraft changed his mind.

Everyone's gotta be on the same page or nothing can get accomplished.

Good morning.

Since we won our latest Superbowl, haters from everywhere have joined others from around the world launching the largest hate campaign in the history of our great franchise.

Hate -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.

We can't be consumed by their petty comments anymore. We will be united in our common interest.

Perhaps its fate that Belichick led us to the greatest comeback in Super bowl history yet you will once again be fighting for our fans, our franchise and our legacy....We're fighting for our right to be the greatest team ever.

And should we win our 5th Superbowl, our franchise will no longer be known as just 5 time Superbowl Champions, but it will the day when the world declared in one voice:

"Brady will not go quietly into the night!
The defense will not vanish without a fight!
The Patriots will march on and the Patriots will win it all!"

Today, we celebrate the greatest team of all time….the New England Patriots!!!

umm, don't the Steelers still have more Super Bowl wins? Don't the Packers still have more NFL Championships than both of them? Aren't the '72 Dolphins still the only undefeated team?

Dude...pick a team and still with them please. You're changing allegiances as often as Kim Kardashian.

Don't like any of teams I mentioned. But in each case it invalidates the "best team ever" comment.

My team got busted for breaking the rules. We got punished for it. But did I ever whine about it? No, because when you get caught, you get punished. EOS

And in no universe would I ever dare call the Falcons best in anything :(

Knowing Goodell's history.. I am STILL shocked that Pats fans are surprised/shocked and still looking for explanation. Players and teams have moaned/whined/complained after getting the 'wrath of Khan'...and at best, suspensions were cut in half in some cases. SMH

Greatest second half comeback in Super Bowl histiry. I am a Pats fan (sort of) but they were not the only team to come from 10 points down to win it.
