By RICK KISSELL

'Undercover Boss' tops Sunday entertainment shows

"Boss" was seen by 15.3 million viewers and drew a 5.1 preliminary rating among adults 18-49. Even factoring that the first "Boss" episode had a Super Bowl lead-in, this is an impressive Week Two performance for a non-serialized reality show. The premiere of "Race" (9.1 million, 2.8) was up slightly from last year. At 10 p.m. CBS switched from reality to crime drama "Cold Case" (8.7 million, 2.1), which dropped 13% from its last original airing despite having a large lead-in from "Boss."

TV Ratings: Back to Fourth Place for NBC

Big Numbers for The Bachelor and The Big Bang Theory

ABC dominated the night with two hours of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love followed by an “After The Final Rose” special
CBS was second with a strong performance out of its two hour comedy block. The Big Bang Theory was just off from its record numbers for its last new episode (down only 2%). Two and a Half Men viewers definitely aren’t deterred by Charlie Sheen’s personal life.

St. Patrick’s Day night offered very little in the way of new programming with CBS running repeats other than a new Gary Unmarried and ABC running all repeats except for Ugly Betty and what seems likely to be the series finale of Scrubs which was down 20% from last week. It doesn’t really matter since it has already been canceled, but Ugly Betty was down even more, 29% to its lowest ratings ever for an original episode not aired on a Friday.

TV Ratings Monday: Skating with the Stars Falls Down; Chuck, House Hit Lows; CBS Win

CBS won the night with adults 18-49 and ABC had the most total viewers. Due to the odd start times, we can’t see precise numbers for the shows, but we can see enough to know that Skating with the Stars didn’t get off to a good start, dropping to a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49 between 10p-11p and it declined in each half hour. Earlier in the night Dancing with the Stars scored a 4.7 rating with adults 18-49 from 8p-9p for its performance finale, up 18% from last week and 15% from last fall.

Skating with the stars sucked big time. I hated the British host, I hated the so called "stars" and I really didn't care for the skating. I predict here that this will be gone very quickly due to low, low, low, ratings.
