Black screen

I have purchased a #1 Fortec 35" (90cm) Dish[Fortec 35" (90cm) Dish Packages=Fortec 35" (90cm) Dish, Invacom quad L/C LNB, and STAB HH90 Rotor]
with a coolsat 5000 platinum and I just cant in anyway get this to work for me...Im getting a signal but a black screen... Anyone know what im doing wrong?..

What satellite are you aiming for? Its all about signal QUALITY remember, at this point signal strength means nothing!

I would forget the motor and try to find and store a few satellites first, remove any switches and run a coax from one Linear output of the Invacom QPH-031!

The L.O. (LNB FREQ.) should be set to 10750

Ok Now remember im so new at this...lol...I have had a few people try to set this up and no luck from them...Now the dish has to face SW right?... Seems to me that all satellites that are up here are that way...But we have been trying to get answers for 2 weeks now and this one is the closest that we got so far thx..

with a coolsat 5000 platinum It was all setup, I had great signal and quality but still a black screen, that was nimiq 1-3.... I had tried others but still no luck...the instructions were followed to the best of my knowledge...and yet its still sitting on my roof and no TV.. 3 weeks later.....lol

Where I live here In Ontario, everyone I talk to that has the coolsat 5000 platinum says that its down and wont be back up till they find a fix for it...im sure they are using express vu for their satellite and thats why I went online to find out what was going on and I was told there are many satellites I can get if I order the 30" dish....
