Banned yesterday, duped by my installer, my apologies.
I made a post yesterday regarding different channels on my 2 sonicview receivers. I did so out of frustration with my installer, who, after two weeks finally called me this morning of all days. Logging on this morning to sayguys.us to fill you in on my discovery I see I have been banned.

It turns out the guy who set up my system sold me a bill of goods. He told me it was fta and and totally above board. I must admit I was suspicious, but did not really have time to research the whole thing and I trusted the guy who set it up.

:( My apologies to satelliteguys.us and anyone associated. :(

If you wish to ban this account as well, I understand.
If not, I hope to move forward on my own with a new dish I am now in the market for.

On my own now, I am going to explore real FTA Satellite. I am now going to make the time to do the set up myself.

Thanks and again, my apologies. I hope to move forward. :)

Thanks for the info>you are one of few who may have been duped. There's a lot to enjoy and learn with free to air, I haven't had any subscription/pay tv in 2years, and I never have to complain there's "nothing to watch". Of course I have wide range of tastes in tv, and may be easier satisfied than some.
Usually though, if somebody tells you its a free ride, or you get pay-tv for nothing, then it's not going to be legit nor legal. Piracy is a big problem in the pay tv biz, not just satellite either, and folks who pop in here asking the usual suspect questions get booted pretty quickly. Hope you get the right equipment set up, and start exploring like I did. PM a moderator and ask to get a rehearing, lol. We help a lot of people here at satellite guys.
PS: it WILL look highly complicated at the beginning, there's tons of terms and phrases to learn. But it will come to you if you are eager to learn.

This is the first time I'm aware of a banned-for-hack-talk user actually apologizing and "professing repentance." Usually they just disappear and go somewhere more friendly to that behavior.

Although I didn't see the original posts that got him banned, based on the humble attitude displayed here I suggest reinstating him.
