Dew Action Sports Tour looks good again today

Isn't the rule of LLWS kind of skew for any non-us team? There are two pools of team. One pool is composed of US teams and they played against each other so the US is guaranteed to have one team going to the final. The other pool of teams is composed of non-US teams and they played against each other. Is this how the tournament is set up? To me this gives the edge to US to win the tournament every year no matter what. A better tournament will be to have them compete against each other no matter what pool you are in and the best two teams go to the final. It seems like the US will be one team in the final always no matter what.

LLWS on ESPN is awesome; Great Stuff! Sean, yes the LLWS is partially skewed in favor of the USA, but only partially. The USA gets to participate in the championship every year because this country is the home of baseball, we host the event, and it's more of a national championship combined with a world championship.

On the other side of the argument, one could say the USA is at a significant disadvantage when it comes to the championship since our best players are spread-out over dozens of teams. Anyway, I don't think it's a big deal since it's a) tradition, b) only the single best team wins and c) it's only little league fun.
