I see your point but I still think that if the format wouldn't be like this then I do not think the US will make it to the finals every year. It is still skewed towards one country. It is not a fair competition from the beginning. The US has the advantage.

I just thought about the following... How would anyone have liked if Greece who hosted the Olympics would have had a team in every final competition representing them? To me this tournament is fixed for the US to be in the finals every year and win 95% of the time. This is a fixed tournament and it should be called the the Little League US Series and not the "World" Series. The international teams are just guests to a tournament that they have no control over. I have nothing against the kids and I think it is great but the kids did not make the tournament rules. I'd bet that the sponsors and promoters of this event have something to do with how the tournament is set up. They probably figured that if there was no US team in the finals there was not going to be any sponsoring. If that is the case, this is not a fair competition as I stated before.

Now going into extra innings and the game is being moved to ESPN-HD on the east and central timezones, so ABC can do hurricane coverage

So it shold be HD but I wont see it

They moved it to ESPN2 here. But there's no ESPN 2 branding so I think it's just an alternate feed.

ESPN is still showing sportscenter.

So yes I lost HD. But where I'm living now I only have OTA anyways
