Yeah E on the signal bar is edge. The only thing worse is "o" which is GPRS which runs about 56k baud (i.e. dialup modem speed).

Most of the easy too do towers are now complete. The stuff that's left has no fiber currently in place or no tower at all. My wife has been providing tech support for the upgrade effort for the past 3 years. She retired at the end of the year but the upgrades continue on. Many billions of dollars have been put into their network and many billions more are projected before they are done.
