Are you from the south?

Isn't Pittsburgh beautiful this time of year?

LMAO!!!!

Ha we are the definition of hot and humid from mid-May to mid September. Before and after that it's hit or miss...I was on the beach earlier this week (with my injured ankle elevated higher than my heart thanks to Bill!) when the temps approached 90.

Sandra

:haha

You don't know muggy if the temps only get up to 90. Come here where it gets up to 100 with 100% humidity then compare.

I meant it was 90 here on the beach a few days ago. Temps in the summer tend to climb above 90 pretty often, but it can be a little cooler at times along the ocean. Depends on which way the breeze is blowing...off-shore breezes can bring the temps down 5-10 degrees along the coast, inland breeze or no breeze means it's hot everywhere.

Perhaps I'm getting older, but it seems to be getting hotter every year!

You guys have NO CLUE what heat and humidity is. LOL! Our 96 degrees in July, August and September...is AND feels like 110+ to everyone else. As opposed to MOST northern places that get REAL heat and humidity for maybe 1 1/2s out of the year...that is how long we sometimes DON'T GET heat and humidity down here. Seeing that Rey and I are the ones that live the most southern out of all of us.

But I will take the heat and humidity over freezing temps, snow shoveling, wearing 40 pounds of clothing to stay warm ANY DAY OF THE week!!!

If you listen to most northerners....many times they WISH they were south because of weather. You almost NEVER hear a southerner wish they north because of the weather.

And you guys really don't want Rey and I busting out picks of Miami and it's "nice scenery"....LOL

Only from may through september?
And only 90?

Lady (with respect :D), you northerners dont know hot and humid. That is a fact.

Yeah that's why businesses in the south always hire people from the north, they actually work instead of sleeping under a tree.

What businesses?
People in the north come to the south, but to vacation. To real beaches. Not to work, they cant handle the heat.

Ummm ...
If you slept under a tree in the South, the fireants would tear you up.

Tried that in Vicksburg MS......wasnt actually under a tree, and wasnt actually "sleeping"....younger days and on a curb, but man did those fire ants sober me up.

Ive been to south Florida several times, and it is hot. Ill tell you though that south mississippi and Bama is just as bad and probably worse though. No ocean breeze on three sides giving a "cooling" breeze. lol (if that even makes sense).

IN any case, anyone out of the south talking about humidity and heat.....I always laugh a little.

Yeah, for a month or so....We have two seasons here. Summer, and cooler summer.

I live about 10 miles from the ocean and honestly I don't feel any breeze. It nasty as hell here right now. Its only going to get worse lol. But like salsa said i wouldn't trade it for those nasty winters up north. Hehe
and for whatever reason the temperature is higher than usual for this time of year. Yay!
