Are west coast feeds HD in the west coast?

A channel by number is the same across the country. If it's hd in the east, it's hd everywhere. That doesn't mean the west coast version is in hd just because the east coast is.

No I was talking about stations like Cartoon Network West and Nickelodeon West. But I guess my question has been answered so thanks to raoul above!
