Aquos Quattron

I just got my new Aquos TV and I don't know if I'm happy or disappointed. Sometimes I think this picture is great, but it's so different from my other LCD TV that sometimes I get motion sickness watching it. Does anyone else have any experience with these TVs?

I don't have Aquos, but I think I know what you are talking about: "the Soap Opera Effect". It drives me nuts too!

Try turning off the motion interpolation. I think Sharp calls it "Fine Motion" or "AquoMotion".

Or is it just the size of the screen?

It is "Fine Motion" setting, mine is on and I don't seem to have any problem.

The 24fps (film) vs. 60fps (video) effects are as personal as rainbows on DLP devices...

I got it figured out. I turned off OPC, motion enhancement, and film mode. Now I don't get the seasick feeling while watching. While looking up the info, I noticed that several people loved it and wouldn't do without it while others hated it and couldn't wait to get rid of it.

I keep Sony's version on low for regular TV and off on BD's. Works well that way for me.
