Anyone having trouble with device codes for the remote, step in...

My son has a new westinghouse 32" tv, and none of the codes in the manager
worked. Called dish and they said there wasnt a code search on this remote.
So i went to the site below (aparently the new manufactures of this remote)
punched in the brand and model, and it gave me a code. Used this code in
the remote manager, and it said it was invalid, and asked if i wanted to
save anyway, i did and low n behold the code works perfect. Just thought
this may help someone.

there was a post earlier, will have to see if I can find it but the new dish remote can learn your original remote as well.

It can learn custom buttons, to any location on the dish remote, except the tv power button....... So that really defeats the purpose...
