Not that it affects me since I live in Los Angeles and get all my locals via OTA, but I have a buddy in Wisconsin that is looking to make the switch from Charter after a bust-up with them over customer service. However, he'd like to know if / when Dish plans to roll out local HD channel service for the Madison DMA?

Does anyone happen to know if / when this is planned? I searched other threads and didn't come up with anything other than Direct is planning on rolling out Madison sometime soon, but nothing with regards to Dish.

Any and all help is appreciated.

It is not planned this year

In fact generally overall dish it seems dish is behind in their original plan because there is only 4 months left in 2006 and they haven't launched 22 locals they originally said they would in 2006

Well they still have time to add more so we will half to waite and see..

Those who are too impatient to do the full wait have to do half. Twice. :D

As Bryan said, Dish is not keeping up with the pace they were keeping the first half of the year. Here is the list of planned markets and launch dates for the current ones.
