Any idea what next local HD channels will be?

Hey everyone, people have been talking about the next national HD channels. But does anyone have an idea what the next local HD channels will be?

I am hoping with the new satellite we will see more western HD locals added, and particularly for me because I am in Tucson, AZ, still waiting for local HD.

Well, if you go by the uplink centers post, SHERMAN/ADA will be HD when Ceil-2 is lit up

4624 - KXII [MPEG4 HD] added to Ciel-2 129W TP 7 Spotbeam ?? (NA)(Sherman, TX)
4625 - KTEN [MPEG4 HD] added to Ciel-2 129W TP 7 Spotbeam ?? (NA)(Ada, OK)

Look at today's uplink report. It may hold some clues, although what you see is no guarantee.

I noticed that the Sticky List of HD Local Markets NOT Available on Dish Network

Has both Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH set for "February 2009". Can someone provide a source to this February date? Or is it merely speculation.

You cant go by that. on that list It says
DMA #53: New Orleans, LA (4th Qtr 08)
Here we are in 2009, still no hd locals, plus we were on the 2006 list for 2006

I would think/hope so. They did go up on Direct recently so hopefully Dish will add them as well.
