Any deals to get free Sunday Ticket this year?

Got one of these last year, one of the best e-mails of 2017 for me :D

Subject: Important Account Information

Had a big graphic that said "Welcome to DIRECTV! As a new DIRECTV subscriber, you are eligible for NFL Sunday Ticket Max at no extra cost for the 2017 season"

This was after I already got a full free season in 2016 after signing up for DIRECTV in June 2016 so I was under contract and they didn't have to offer it. Not expecting it again this year but if it shows up, I'll appreciate it, especially now that I actually live outside my favorite team's market
 
I like the $60 off per month more than the ST ...
If I got that, I wouldn't need free ST.
Yeah I figure the $60 offsets what I'm paying for NFL ST, plus it's for 12 months not 6, so an extra 6 months of $60 off is nice.

I'm pretty sure it's a package deal. I jumped on it yesterday.

I still have a year left on my contract (with all the discounts expiring this month) so I thought it was a very fair deal considering I have no leverage at all.

Are these discounts for Sunday ticket and Sunday ticket max? The guy I talked to today said that I am already getting Sunday ticket for free for the next year. I am not sure if I believe him. And I forgot to ask about Sunday ticket max.

Actually it wasn’t as retention dept gave the 60 off but said no specials for NFL ST, I got the 25 percent from the NFL ST dept.

I wind up more than $300 ahead in this. How is that NOT a fair deal especially for someone under contract? I wasn't getting the $60/month without getting ST.
 
This morning I was able to get the ST Max for free plus $60 off for 12 months. I did this via a long chat process where I was connected to the "account management team" by the normal chat person. I did have to mention that I will need to look at canceling due to costs and job issues.

Try going on the D* website and do a Chat and see what they have to say.

I use chat more than calling in anymore.

After being assured that Sunday Ticket was removed, when my bill showed up today it was still on there. On the Programming page it has been removed, but they did not remove the bill. I was going to try the chat, but I have no chat link on the contact us page. Every goes thru combined billing thru AT&T when you have both AT&T Fiber and Directv. They refuse to transfer you to a Directv person. It is the most frustrating thing I have dealt with. I'm now waiting to be transferred to an NFL specialist. 9+ yrs and I'm about gone in October.

I just went to the D* page, which took me to the option for ATT or D*, chose D* ... then when I get to the D* page, scroll down to the bottom, under the "Help Center" then Contact tab... Contact comes up and 1st thing on the left side is CHAT ... very quick, always there.

Thats interesting, i use it quite often ... i will say its a pain originally because the Virtual Assistant wants to help you ..... i keep telling them i want a LIVE person and i get one once it decides it cant help me.

It's frustrating because I would have tried the chat, It says Chat with us, and there's no way to connect to the chat.

They have no offers no Sunday Ticket, but I did take a $60/month credit she offered. We'll go from there. I have an HR-44 that's I think is about to crap out and I dread dealing with that now, Especially with losing the shows my wife has recorded on there.

Well, the 60 off p/m covers the ST cost ...
I would recommend watching whatever you can ... soon, if you think its going bad.

Fwiw, I just tried the Chat again and it went right away .... I did notice that it did have a tab that said "Chat Available".

I've told my wife to watch everything she can as soon as she can, I've got nothing on there. Pixelates and sound goes out about once a minute, won't hold the internet, have to sign in about twice a week. I don't watch that tv much. I watch as much on my Firestick as anything anymore.
