In my experience there isn’t much unless you get the right CSR otherwise it’s the first Thursday or Sunday of football the first week I free that’s the week or days they give out better offers

Never said it wasn’t fair I’m not under contract didn’t need to sub to NFL ST to get 60 a month for 12 months.I wind up more than $300 ahead in this. How is that NOT a fair deal especially for someone under contract? I wasn't getting the $60/month without getting ST.

I've been with them since 2006, they gave me $60/Month for 12 months, plus the NFL ST department gave me 25% off either(my choice) chose Max, as I like Redzone, was same price as regular. I think it's hit or miss now that AT&T has taken over, some get great deals, some don't, depends on a lot of factors, paying bill on time, being long time customer. I guess the best way to get it free is to threaten to cancel, never done it, I've gotten the Ticket free the pasty 2 years for adding a line of service to my AT&T account, was the Max too(package wise), and have either gotten it free or significantly discounted every year, this year was tough, but factoring in the $60 off for 12 months, I'm making out to $15 off a month with NFL ST on my account.I was in Walmart an had a lady come u p to me and offer me the Sunday ticket as a new customer. Umm No thanks but I have been a customer for 8 years maybe more what does the retention department give long term customers. I have had them pretty long. Love the service. my equipment is getting long in the tooth do they offer up new equipment I do have a Geni and a Geni mini from 2 contract ago. do they still offer up equipment to re up. keep reading 25% what the service of the Sunday ticket or both? I'll sign up longer then 12 month If I know I'm getting a break of some kind to beat the rate increases that are sure to come down the road. I know that does not may you immune but the increase doesn't hurt if you already saving from whjat ou pay currently?

Wow ....Actually, the $45 discount would not go on hold, it would just run out, if that makes sense. So if they won't give me a good enough deal for Sunday Ticket, I would either:
A: Keep my account active for the next four months, drop down to the lowest package (Family, which is about $32 a month), put 3 of my 4 receivers on suspended status (which will save me $14 a month), drop HD (which would save me $10 a month) and let the $45 a month almost the entire remainder of the bill.
B: Suspend my service completely, for at least the next four months. The discount will run out but DTV won't be getting a dime out of me, then see what they can offer me at that time and make sure none of it runs into football season.
So it's their call. Do they want to keep me as a long-time customer and get at least SOME money out of me or they stick to their guns that $45 is the maximum discount they can give me and I'd have to pay $300 for ST which I won't do?

Just what I was thinking, plus....sounds like now the discount is tied to your account not just that premium. You can drop Sunday Ticket and still get the discount.
It should show on your account as being free .... this way you'll know.Well I called and talked to retention department and they said I could get it for free. I’ll believe that when I see it in 2nd week of season. I do have time I talked to them and agents name. Plus no new contract. So we’ll see.
