Antenna question

Junk. It's about as good as an old single bowtie antenna at 6x the price. I suppose if you're very close to a transmitter it'd be ok. If I recall correctly it barely outperformed a paper clip.

Are you able to go with an outdoor antenna, roof mounted, or up high outdoors, or in a second floor attic? What are your options in that regard? Can we assume you are going for the stations to your Southwest? (in the general area of 7.1 ABC)

We have one but it hasn't worked in over 15 years
You might be surprised. I have refurbed some old antennas with good results. Like add a new balun and a preamp, replacing twinlead with coax, clean up of corrosion, etc...

Do you have some more info on the old antenna, placement (roof, tower, attic), does it have an existing mount and pole (that can be reused if needed for a new antenna), pictures?

Are you going for the channels to your south/southwest?
