I have an RCA indoor/outdoor ANT806 antenna. We installed it outside and it picks up 2 local channels. Most of the neighbors I have spoken to can pick up at least 20 channels. They have an amplifier hooked to their antenna. I bought a CM 7777 amplifier but cannot figure out how to hook it up. We hooked it up and we get no channels. I am not sure if it is hooked up wrong or if it is not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It could be the differance in your tv's.The newer digital tv's don't take amplified signals very well.It over powers the tuner.
The older analog tv's do.
i installed a new antenna for a friend and ran an amp for the setup. He gained channels while his daughter, with a newer digital tv,lost channels.Easy fix.Her line is not amplified.
When my friend updated his tv,we disconnected the amp all together.
Good luck...........

You will benefit more by upgrading your present antenna rather than adding any amplification to the present one. Even the small [ame="http://www.amazon.com/RCA-ANT751-Outdoor-Optimized-Reception/dp/B0024R4B5C"]Amazon.com: RCA ANT751 Outdoor Antenna Optimized for Digital Reception: Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21M%2BrvJSthL.@@AMEPARAM@@21M%2BrvJSthL[/ame] is light years better than the wand antenna you are using now.

Post your TV FOOL report here & we will try to give more precise suggestions for improving reception. Your address will not show up when posting the report here.
