I ordered and replaced all 4 of my diseqc switches. I set all my receivers up the same way. As in, after the diseqc switches each dish has its own 6x8 zinwell using only the 4 usable ports and for each receiver port 1 goes to my c band, port 2 goes to sat 83, port 3 with 22 khz on goes to 97 sat, port 3 also goes to sat 101 with 22 khz off, port 4 goes to sat 125.
Strange thing I was trying to get sat 97 on in the bedroom and transponder 11835 seemed dead, until I turned my office to the same sat and then it would get signal in the bedroom.
Any thoughts on this?
I have 2 coolsat 5000 receivers that are doing this, the settings are this, lnb power on, lnb type single, lnb freq 10750, 22 khz on for 97 off for 101, diseqc switch 1.0 , commited 3, legacy sw off.

could you draw a diagram of your setup and post it?
dont know how to draw with the pc. I will look at some paint programs and see if I can use them.

I tried paint and it would take me all day to do it.

Is your layout based on this design over in the Switches Simplified FAQ?
Maybe you could mark up that picture to show what you're up to?
No need to make the 4x4's into your 6x8's.

Mostly label the LNBs to match what you got, the receivers, the diseqc, and erase anything you aren't using.
Doesn't need to be pretty!

I made it with Paint, and it was a pain, but hacking it up shouldn't be too bad for ya. -

edit:
Or, maybe print it out, mark it up with something kinda bold... like a medium tip marker ....
... then shoot it with a 10 or 12 megapixel camera on max resolution?
I'd think even a 2000x3000 pixel photo should be easily readable. Maybe less.

Your picture is about what I have. Only I only use the 22 khz on one 6x8. The other zinwells only use the 13 and 18. On the one that I am having trouble with I do use the 22khz and 13 and 18.
I have 3 of the Twin Ku lnbf JSC322 in use. and one old commercial single pol lnb on sat 83. The sat 83 and 125 are not giving me problems. Just the 97 and 101 which I have 2 lnbs on one dish both lnbs are the JSC322 and they connect to the same zinwell. I checked my coax to make sure I had them paired up right the 2 from 97 going to 22 khz on and 2 from 101 going to 22 khz off .
Now in my set up in the receiver I use lnb power ON not 13 or 18. And call it out as a standard/single. I receintly upgraded my lnbs to dua/twin output as before I only had single output. And wanted dual outputs. And had some issues with bad ports on diseqc so I replaced all of them. Never noticed any problem like this one before.
I can have 97 on in one room and 101 in the other and all is fine but if I change the one in my office to c band I loose the 97 in my bedroom.
I may pull the coax off them at the zinwells and run a continuity check again.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm thinking in the receiver setup for the bedroom FTA box, you do not have LNB Power set to ON (at least for the 97° bird).
Sounds to me like the Zinwell 6x8 and two LNBFs (97° & 101°) are only being powered by the office receiver.
That may not be the only solution, but it's the first one that comes to mind.

:
Another reason why I like using powered multiswitches instead of unpowered ones.
However, in this case, if LNB Power was not on, then you would be able to get only one polarity and not both.
It's always something. :)

I double checked all my settings and they are all the same. I will make some time tomorrow and double check my lines from the zinwell to the 2 lnbs on the dish. I could have crossed up the cables as there are 4 of them to deal with and the go underground from the mounted zinwell to the dish. I post after I get a for sure or not. thanks

Found the problem but now what to do?

Well after a day of trying everything from continuity testing on cables, voltage testing, replacing lnbf, trying different zinwell. And trying different settings I found that the zinwells 22khz was what is throwing me off.
I narrowed it down to only a problem with sat 97 and that is the sat I had set 22khz to on. I moved the 2 coax to a different zinwell on just 13 and 18 v without 22 lhz and bingo everything worked.
BUT now I am shy on a port for my sat at 125. I used the zinwell that I had 125 sat on. So I lost a satellite.
I did not have this problem till I changed to the DMS international TWIN ku lnbf model JSC322. It shows to be a standard lnbf I believe.
What would make the 22khz affect it? any clues? I may try one of the single standard lnbfs I removed earlier on sat 125 and try it with 22 khz on and see if it works. thanks for suggestions and bearing with me on this.

Sorry I did not get back sooner, been away working.
I have the receivers in house, 4 of them tied into this system and one seperate running out to a ku motorized dish.
The 4 in this system are thus
receivers, 1 x 4 diseqc switches each has there own, then to 4 zinwell 6x8 switches one for each satellite, the out to lnbs. All are twin ku standard. except for the sat 83 is just a commercial single polarity ku.
