Annual OSU vs Michigan thread

Digital, according to your logic the game being played today is meaningless to future generations; that is exactly what you are saying. Perhaps we should just look at the series after 1964 since, well...I wasn't born yet so anything BR (before riffjim4069) doesn't matter. In that case, Michigan leads 22-19-2. In fact, the only games that really matter to anyone were the ones from 1964-2000. During this time, Mchigan is 21-14-2.

Sorry, but your argument doesn't hold water. Try as you may, you cannot alter the facts to support your argument. Perhaps if OSU were to actually win more games than Notre Dame over the next 35 years then perhaps they could be the...#2 football program, once again behind Michigan.;)

Still holding out for a miricle. If not, then evil will rule the world under a dark gray sky for another year. An Ohio State win will mean continued war, high oil prices, depressed economy, and finally herpes & gonorrhea for all.

Quite honestly, I don't care about any OSU / Michigan series before Bo got there, so from Bo's tenure till now is what I consider ...
That said, the ONLY real game to consider it the game to be played TODAY.
The players really don't care anything about the previous 70 years, or maybe the previous 4 years I should make , that the team cares about, as they are the years that the current players have played in.
Thats all that matters to them, period.

That said, the Buckeyes Seniors went out 4-0 against michigan, well done men !

OSU wins with the running game and defense. Woody would have been proud.

GO BLUE!!!

Yes Paul,
Woody and Bo would have been proud :up

And Colin Cowherd from ESPN radio will come out Monday on his show and say how boring and slow the Big 10 is.

I will invite him to bring his hallowed SEC teams up here and play in these conditions.

My take on this game was that Michigan couldn't tackle to save their lives. The OSU running back Wells, was a load and they constantly tried to tackle him high.....dumb. The long run for a TD was a bunch of missed tackles. And the Michigan QB was hurt, I think the freshman brought the possible danger of the long ball in the back of the OSU defenses' head...and in turn, when he was in, the running game opened up...but when Henne came back...I knew they were done. But to Ohio State defense, they won ANOTHER tough game on the road, to and me that is impressive. IF LSU falters and Kansas loses just ONE game, OSU could be right back in the picture. Either way, LSU and Kansas hold their own destiny....one loss by either one will kill there chances.

I see both of them going down to tell you the truth. As much as I hate to say it, if LSU gets by Arkansas at home and winds up playing Georgia in Atlanta, they will lose. Richt seems to be able to get his team really fired up for the big games. Georgia didn't seem to take UK seriously early on today, but still managed to pull out the win. Hopefully, Tennessee can knock off Kentucky next week, then LSU may have a chance if they make it to the SECCG.

As for Kansas, I still don't see them getting by both Mizzou and OU.

Where are all the Michigan fans from the start of this thread???:D

In case you missed it, This is a preiceless shot...

That wasn't Michigan's big problem yesterday. The entire offense was their problem. You can't expect to win the game if you only have 91 yards of total offense and over half of those yards were in the first quarter.

Yea, but at least Coach Carr had a winning record against his rival. Cooper can't and never will be able to say that!

Goodbye LLoyd Carr. Job well done. I hope the next coach brings as much class and dignity to the program as you did. Thank you. I'm sure that school down south will miss you the most.
