I finally reset this unit and point the dish to AMC4 the chinese channels. It came out good, excepted it is slow after each channel changed, it will display channel is not available but wait about ten second, the channel come out.

wasn't Alphastar one the DBS players abck in the Primestar days?

Yes, went down in just few short months.. Although the quality on the receiver is good, but is a piece of junk compared with current advanced receiver.
