AL Central 2010

Maybe the 2 days off in 4 days might help the Twins since its been raining since yesterday and its suppose to rain most of the day today...but the good drainage system will get rid of the water :)

Any time we beat the Yankee's is cool. What a season Cabrera is having. How does Zumaya throw over 100mph EVERY throw?

Did you happen to notice Zumaya had his very FIRST Walk last night.

Gotta love the bias the yankees get when they don't swing the bat.....
If they don't swing, it must have been a ball.

I agree. Thats why we didnt need one now

I guess Ozzie said we have a beautiful stadium....but then he has to mention that he hated the Dome...maybe because the Sox sucked there :)
He said something about in the dome that "the manager had to take a shower with the players and nobody wanted to see that" :)

Don't get me wrong....I'm glad to see the team take 3 of 4 from the Yanks, but their biggest challenge is to win consistently on the road. Also nice to see the starting rotation has been clicking.

IF the Starting rotation had turned the corner, then winning on the road will come along with it.
Personally, I want to see more than 2 starts, but it's a start.
JV looks much better than earlier, Porcello seems to be on the correct path.

Well have to see what Scherzer does, he goes today, he got rocked in spring training till he decided to crank it up, you would have thought he would have done it at the start of the season, he said his "Intensity" wasn't there in ST, well he needs his Intensity for the rest of the year now.

IF he comes around and starts pitching consistantly , look out.

Willis has pitched well of late (to my surprise) and glad to see it.
Still not to the point that I don't worry about a melt down, but more on the positive than neg at this point.

Bondrman I think is still in his recovery stage, some very good, some not so good.

Sure would help if our GREAT Defense would show up some time, the D* had killed us so far this year.

The TWINS have 8 errors this year, we have 8 in a week and a half.

Defense hasn't been everything I would like to see, but the reality of the matter is that it has only cost us 2 games (to the best of my memory) so far. Some of the errors have been errors of aggression. When you stop to think about the lineup this season, it's amazing they have done so well. Jackson, Boesch, Avila, Sizemore, all in the lineup together? They're all rookies! Who else is playing with that many rookies? Now add in the youngest starting rotation in MLB. Willis is the old man of the staff. The future is so bright, I need sunglasses.

But it's not the rookies making the errors ...
What about the ones that they don't call errors ....

Santiago and Everett need to learn to field.

Rayburn, Thank God is down on the farm, Our D got a LOT better when he went down .... except I now feel bad for the team in Toledo ...

Scherzer getting Rocked tonight .... gave up a 5 spot in the first including a HR to Ortiz ...

Hopefully he'll wake up in time for the 2nd inning.

Getting concered with Scherzer, has been rocky thus far

Same here.
He's kinda settled in after a rocky 1st, but you can't expect the offense to bail you out when you give up a 5 spot in one inning.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
