I guess......but the disadvantages outweigh them ;)

By the way the BIT (Big Inflatable Toilet) did have 2 postponements...one for weather, one for other

Only two Twins games in the Metrodome were ever postponed. The first was on April 14, 1983, when a massive snowstorm prevented the California Angels from getting to Minneapolis. The game would have likely been postponed in any case, however; that night heavy snow caused part of the roof to collapse. The second was on August 2, 2007, when the I-35W Mississippi River Bridge collapsed a few blocks away from the Metrodome. The game scheduled for August 1 was played as scheduled because the team and police officials were worried about too many fans departing the Metrodome at one time, therefore causing conflict with rescue workers. The August 2 game and ceremonial groundbreaking at stadium were postponed to a due to the bridge collapse.

Wiki says it was totally demolished 9/21/09

Excuse me ?

I am not WRONG AGAIN ......

If you look at my post, I said:

Stands and all, last I knew the pressbox area stands was still there, but the rest was gone ...

Last I knew.

Yea a bit sad, I went to a resturant recently before a wings game, right down the road from old Tiger Stadium (Slow's BBQ-Awsome place by the way) and if your not carefull you drive right by the empty field now. Its really amazing they had that field on what looks like a small piece of land

How great is this....MLB Network showing 1984 World series highlights!!! Tigers/Padres

Nice win tonight against the Yanks by the Tigers. Once again, the Tigers are playing solid ball at home, but woeful on the roads...which is the same problem the past few season. This must change if we are going to content for the division title.

10-3 Home
8-11 on road

They are at least still Close to .500 on the road.

fwiw,
Twins are 11-5 H and 10-6 on the road.

Tampa Bay is an amazing 13-4 on the road !!!
