AL Central 2010

5 game win streak and 7-3 in the last 10.
Back to SINGLE digits GB, thats an improvement.

Now lets see if they can keep it up.

Yes, 35-5 would be very nice !

Tigers have 6 games with Minnesota and 7 with the Sox yet.

Amply oppertunity to pull them selves back into the race, but they would have to make the most of them and the best I can see is a split and that won't get it done.

Hopefully we'll bottle some of this magic and use it when we play the Sox and Twins.

...not in the Motown. My friends in Hamtramck are singing, "I don't want him, you can have him, Damon's salary is too fat for me." :(

Not me my friend, I think he is important to the team. I was at Tuesday's and yesterdays games, and the biggest applause on both days was for Damon, by far.

BTW my son Chet loved going to his first game. We know the supervisor of the ushers and he sat us in row 21 behind the Tigers dugout. I love this stadium, not a bad seat in the house, even up in the uppers, the seats are great. The only bad thing down in the boxes is the unrelenting sunshine. You're down below street level, and there is no breeze. Oh well, one win, one brutal extra inning loss. Great fun was had by all. They gave Chet a certificate for his first game, and my wife called a few days ago, and got his name up on the scoreboard announcing his first game too. Didn't get a picture though, came up unexepected.

Did you record the game ?
Might want to keep it :up
He'll never believe it's HIM on the scoreboard when he grows up !

White Sox win the waiver claim on Manny, now they have to see if they can work out a deal. Bat would definitely help, not so sure if he's worth it. He is now a liability in the field, so strictly a DH.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
