Adding an additional HDTV Per Dish

I presently have a 722k which has HD on TV1 and SD on TV2 in the bedroom. I also have 322 which SD on TV1 and TV2. I want to get HD in the bedroom of the 722. After taking to two the Dish CSRs they said I would have to buy a box from
them for $319 and pay an additional $2 a month. The reason I would have to buy a box is because it hasn't been a year from my last upgrade. I want to replace my 322 with a 222k. Is there something else I can do?

Buy the new receiver or wait til your year has past and exchange the 322 with a 222k. Not much else you can do.

I'd ask to be escalated, or even send an email pleading your case to ceo at dishnetwork dot com

They made an exception for me (Dish'n it up) for my second ViP722 when they wanted my 721 back. Not quite the same circumstance, I know. But if you don't ask, persistently, you don't get.

When is your year up? Might be the easiest route.

Not quite sure what your dish and switch setup is like ... buy a single 211K might might work too ...
