Good evening guys!

I currently gave a DPP44 switch picking up the Dish1000 + 61.5 going to a 622, and 2 - 211s (all 4 outputs on switch in use)

How would I go about adding a 5th, reciever? Would I need to buy another DPP44 switch, or could I get buy with something else for 1 extra reciever?

Thanks guys!

Put in the dpp seperator (should have come with the 622) and you free up a line.

Exactly. The DPP44 switch allows you to run dual tuners with one single cable using a separator. That will free up one port in the switch.

That looks like it will do the trick! I didn't see it in the box the installers left a few months ago, but it appears to be at Sadoun for about $9, which is definetly a much better deal then buying another whole switch. Thanks guys!

I actually found the one that was included with the original system I'm guessing, it was just layin on the floor behind the TV stand....weird place to leave it, but at least I found it lol

I think I discovered why it was done with 2 lines though. We also have a OTA antenna on the roof along with the dishes for all the local OTA HD (Dish local HD over Satellite leaves much to be desired, atleast around here) So, the antenna has a line coming down from the roof, along with the wires for the 61.5 + dish 1000, and then it goes to a 4-way splitter in the basement where the dpp44 is located, and then I have diplexors to combine the OTA + Sat feeds to the recievers, and then the there is a diplexer at each sat box.

Correct me if i'm wrong please, but I couldnt use a dpp seperator AND a diplexer all as part of a 1-line solution to the 622 could I?
