For some reason, ever since DirecTV switched their online account login from AT&T (signin.att.com) to DirecTV (identity.directv.com), I have been having to verify my account nearly every time I log in to my account, rather than just once and not again for a long time.
Is this just a normal thing for all customers on this new login system, or is it just for me? After all, my account is a little bit different from the average customer. It has a free MLB Extra Innings gift, as well as a recurring monthly credit.
Could it just be like that because of an increasing amount of compromised/hacked accounts? I never had to verify my account this much before, either through AT&T or the older system that predated AT&T's acquisition.
