FLA has 2 BCS National titles, in 2 Appearances and a couple BCS bowl wins.

So Florida has only been good enough to get in the BCS mix 6 times, as opposed to 9 times, and two of those were the Orange Bowl. k:
They are 5-1. Good for them. What happened in 2008 and last year?? And we'll see how they are the next few years, won't we? Ohio State at least GOT TO the NC game 3 times during that same period, not too shabby.

And the Rose Bowl? You are sticking your nose up at the Rose Bowl (the Granddady of them all), one of the BIG 4 BCS games???? Florida wishes they could get there to compete.

And by the way, Ohio State has gone to other BCS Bowl games 8 times, and the Rose Bowl ONCE during the BCS era. We have won as many games as Florida has been invited to. Put that on your pumpkin pie and eat it!

And guess what, the SEC gets a BCS AQ, just like the Big East does.....

He isnt sticking his nose up at the Rose Bowl. He is sticking his nose up at getting in as the Big Ten champ, versus getting in as a member of the SEC.

The fact that many teams in the SEC have gotten there, versus one dominant team from the Big Ten (with a poor record versus the SEC) speaks volumes for the competitiveness of the conference. The BCS titles of the conference speaks to the dominance versus the other conferences.

I have. My teams stats historically match or exceed anyones, and my conferences do as well it seems. Pretty sure Bama is 3-0 against ohio state if you want to go purely by the team.

I think the discussion was about records in the BSC era, for TEAMS, we don't care about the Conference, we care about our TEAM.

You guys root for your conference to win games, which means that you don't dislike your conference opponents ....

If youre from Bama, will you root for your biggest Rival to WIN ? WHY, they are your rival, your suppose to hate them, not root for them.

My 2 favorite teams are Ohio State and whoever beats Michigan.

After though, we will still pull for each other most times against an out of conference foe, OR in any game that benefits us.

Well I have played it out any which way, it seems the bucks come up short either direction you want to take it.

And bandwagoning? How exactly? Because we root for each other in most cases out of conference?
Have you guys not figured out yet that a strong conference when your TEAM is good increases your chance of making the NC game? Hell, the sheer fact that the conference is strong (or division) might get TWO SEC teams from the same division in the BCS NC game this year. Keep rooting team only, we will keep smiling in a knowing manner.

Most BSC WINS - Ohio State 6 (not Bama or LSU)
Most BSC MNC wins LSU and Florida - 2 each Buckeyes have 1

Conference with the most BSC Appearances - Big Ten - 21
Conference with the most BSC Wins - sec - 15

Fwiw, Alabama has only been invited to 3 BSC games and lost 2 of them.
