Okay Ive searched thru alot of this site to try and find a similiar (as to not offend anyone because I am placing another similiar post)
A Question about Dish Home protection Plan.
Does this plan cover if your Dish gets knocked out of line (or blown down)during a Storm.I have placed 9 separate calls to CSRs in the last couple weeks and cant get a straight answer,it goes anywhere from Yes if you pay the 29.95 they will come out and fix.to no this plan doesnt cover that and it will cost you anywhere from 99 dollars to 249.00.
I fired off a letter to the CEO last week (resent again today) asking this same question.
The reason I am asking is I live in California and this weekend we are expecting some severe weather, with High winds, even though my Dish is really anchored good,it still may get knocked out of whack.
And mainly to see if DHPP plan is worth it(I dont mind paying 5.99 extra a month but if it doesnt cover this type of thing ,why Bother.)
Intested in hearing back from people who have had to get Dishes realined after a storm,How was Dishnetwork to deal with ETC.

dhpp

dhpp covers realigning dishes for the discounted rate of $29.99 Where do you live. I'll do it for thirty if you're in the Sacto area, no dhpp required. Does sound like a big one coming our way. More business for me I'm hoping.

29.99 for a tech to come out and do work on the dish. i think the dhpp is worth the 5.99 for the fact that they will replace a bad receiver for free with it plus if you do have to have a service call, it is 29.99 so you save 70 bucks or so.
