811 ver 3.85 and OTA EPG

Received ver. 3.85 download and lost OTA EPG so called tech support and the gal said she had no idea why I would lose it and was surprised 3.85 was even spooled down. Today I e-mailed tech support with the same question and received this reply:

Thank you for your email. We apologize about any inconvenience this may have incurred. Unfortunately, there is no current fix or ETA as to when this issue would be resolved. The updated information only advised that program guide information for OTA-Digital will not be currently un-available until further notice. I do apologize for the inconvenience, but no current resolution is available at this time.

Anybody know whats going on?

See this post where Scott lists the release notes for 3.85. From the notes:

- Remove local channels from EPG when not subscribed

This is not something they are going to fix - it was done on purpose. Do you subscribe to Dish locals?

No I don't subscribe to locals, cancelled after I diplexed OTA antenna. thanks for info, looks like they're squeezing original hd subscribers more and more to get us to switch to mpeg 4 packages.
