One of my customers 625 is acting weird, when I got there TV1 was not working but TV2 was so I ran a switch test. It showed no connections but did show reception verified on sat 1 and it showed all OK on sat 2. I checked the cables and they were fine so I switched the SAT 1 cables on the dPP44 switch and got the same thing, nothing on SAT 1. So if figured the receiver was bad after rebooting. strange thing is now TV1 is working even though SAT1 shows NC and now TV2 is not working even though it shows OK on all sats. Any Ideas?

If your using diplexers try swapping them out, its also possible that the seperator may be failing so try a replacement for it, if your not using a seperator then the dpp44 is a waste of money on that install and its possible that the switch may be going out. I dont think its the receiver as the problem has jumped from one side to the other after a reboot.

also, the satellite feed does not determine which tv works... actually in my experience they work opposite. If you hook up just the sat2 feed, tv1 works (not well, but it works) ;)
i would also recommend you try a new seperator

The installer did not use seperators on this install, he used the dpp44 because they are receiving 4 satellites.
I told the customer to call dish for a replacement 625.
for future reference, he could have used a seperator... they are compatible with the dpp44 switch

Could I expect to get three ViP622s

Confused..a little help here
