622 Remote Issue

I just got a 622 yesterday. The unit is in dual mode. Remote #2 will power on/off the TV and allow me to adjust the volume, but it won't change the channel or "talk" to the 622 at all. Even if I'm standing right in front of it.

Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Have you made sure the remote address is set correctly? Page 72 of the manual.

is the uhf remote antenna plugged in?

Have you got the TV tuned to the same channel as the satellite #2 output? eg. ch.60 or whatever.

Check to make sure the remote is not in "TV" mode.
