522 to 722 upgrade for $75 ??

I was on the phone with Dish to switch from HD Ultimate to HD Essentials, and just for the heck of it asked if it would be possible to swap out my 522 for a 722, and if so how much would that cost.

She said upgrading the 522 to a 722 would cost $75 (one time fee) with a 2 year commitment (or as I like to call them, vomitments).
My monthly fee, as I expected, would stay the same. Currently I have no commitment

Sounds reasonable I guess, is this the standard deal right now, or should I be able to get it cheaper?
Any other options I should consider?
In this time of turmoil, I was hoping maybe it would be free with the 2 year vomitment.

EDIT - my other receiver is a 622, and that's not getting touched in this deal. All receivers are leased. Current plan is AT100 with HD Essentials

Well, I just read some of Scott's posts on Team Summit.
I'm gonna hold out for the new version of the 722 that has Sling Box integrated into it. Might be a while, but that's OK

Have a feeling they might want more than $75 for that upgrade, but it's just so wicked pissa, I gotta have it!!
