322 tv2 coax question

Thinking about buying 322 for inlaws. (They currently have one model 2700, and already have an addtional line from the sat. routed in and ready for connection.)

I know that tv2 can be setup to use a channel in the range 21-69.

My question relates to the ota antenna in on the back of the unit. They utilize a huge outdoor antenna for locals. Will the 322 combine the OTA signal with whatever channel is selected for tv2 and deliver both via coax to the destination tv2? I'm hoping this setup would let them (at the tv2 location) either select channel ## (whatever is selected at the 322) for DISH or just change the TV for their normal locals.

no, but you can probably use a good cable splitter to combine them, like folks are doing with their UHF remote ants.

Thanks. Guess I assumed too much with the HOME DISTRUBUTION description on the back of the 322.

Hopefully it will work the way a VCR does at tv2, as in when they turn off TV2 (on the 322 tv2 remote) then the OTA antenna input at the back of the 322 will pass through to tv2. That would work pretty well.
